Nimad is a region located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and is home to a rich tapestry of tribal cultures. In 2021, during the height of the pandemic, two musicians set off on a musical journey across the rural landscape of Nimad, recording and documenting various folk groups. What began as a curious musical exploration soon transformed into a cultural collaboration and a blending of influences and styles that eventually led to the creation of Nimad Live.
